Cookie Policy
Last updated: August 27, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Soofte, Inc., doing business as Humalike AI (“we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our website, humalike.ai. It supplements our Privacy Policy. Our website is intended for business (B2B) visitors.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are used to make websites work, to keep them secure, and to understand how they are used. Similar technologies (such as local storage) are covered by this policy as well.
2. Cookies we use
| Category | Cookies | Duration | Purpose | Consent |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary (Clerk) | __client_uat, __session | Session / short-lived | Authentication and session security for signed-in users. | Not required (essential) |
| Analytics (PostHog) | ph_*_posthog | 365 days | Understanding aggregate website usage (pages visited, referrers) so we can improve the site. Session recording is disabled. | Required — set only after you accept via the cookie banner |
| Bot protection (Product Hunt badge) | __cf_bm (third-party, Cloudflare) | ~30 minutes | Bot management for the Product Hunt badge image loaded on our site. | Not required (strictly necessary, third-party) |
We also use Vercel Speed Insights for anonymous performance measurement; it sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device, so it does not appear in the table above.
3. Legal basis and consent
Strictly necessary cookies are used under our legitimate interest in operating a secure website. Analytics cookies (PostHog) are set only with your consent, collected through the cookie banner before any analytics starts (PostHog runs in opt-in mode). You can decline with one click, and withdraw consent at any time via the banner’s settings link; declining does not affect your use of the site. PostHog is hosted in the United States; transfers are safeguarded by PostHog’s Data Processing Agreement incorporating the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
4. How to control cookies
You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings (see your browser’s help pages, e.g., for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge). Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how the website functions. You can continue to use the site even if you refuse non-essential cookies.
5. Third parties
Analytics data is processed on our behalf by PostHog as a data processor. We do not permit third parties to place advertising cookies on our website.
6. Changes to this policy
We review this policy at least annually and whenever our cookie use changes, and will post the updated version on this page.
7. Contact
